Scouts Earn Their Way to Camp! "Strive for 25" Drawing - Week 3 Wow, another great week! Keep the entries coming each week for a chance to win fabulous prizes.    Congratulations to this week's winners: Nick Leiss in Troop 14, General Nash - $25 Gift Card Collin Powell in Troop 43, Conestoga - $50 Gift Card Tobey Le in Troop 219, Constellation - $75 Gift Card Travis Chestine in Pack 195, Triune - 50% Campership to a Cradle of Liberty Camp Entries for upcoming drawings are due to the council office each Wednesday by 5pm; use any of our 12 collection points.   Success Stories from Around the Council   Pack 25 in Scoutreach District completed a Camp Card Blitz day going door to door in lower Kensington. Despite pouring rain the unit sold 100 Camp Cards in their quest to get to camp!   Ten Scouts in full uniform from Pack 676 in Scoutreach District spent five hours at the Willow Grove Mall and sold 200 Camp Cards.    Does your unit have a story to share? Tuesday, April 22, 2014 has been chosen as Abington’s Local Scout Day.  Scouts in the 4^th, 5^th, and 6^th grades from Abington Township are eligible to participate.  The Scouts are asked to assemble in the Board Room on the second floor of the Abington Township Municipal Building located at 1176 Old York Road, Abington, PA at 8:00 a.m.

 

After a tour of Township facilities, the Scouts will be taken to the Township’s Public Safety Training Annex (at the end of Flore Land, off Easton Rd.) at 1:10 for a luncheon.  Abington School District students must bring their school’s Parental Permission form.  Students from parochial or private schools must bring their school’s Parental Permission form as well.  Students will be returned to their schools by Township personnel at 2:15 PM.

 

Please respond to me no later than April 10^th.

 

There is a limit of 25 Scouts and it is first come, first served.
